Interesting CC, not boring IMO. Guess you need to have spent lots of time in multi-day meetings waiting for to ask or answer about 2 minutes of tech questions per 8 hours.

At 48 minutes a question about ev-do launch.

Ques: Year end target of 800,000 subs. When will chip set be available, when will tech be ready to go? Will handsets be differentiated between 1X and ev-do? Will there be a time when all have an ev-do chipset in it?

Ans No answer to last part, we continue to sell 1x handsets and ev-do handsets together side by side. We expect about 9 million subs by the end of this year for 1x. We will continue to sell 1x handsets during this year as we are expecting about 800,000 subs by the end of this year for 1x ev-do we will be selling those handsets for that group of people. As to the 1x ev-do technology demonstration yesterday in our building and I went to see the demonstration. The technology is ready and I think when the services are ready to be offered thru the handset and thru a pcmcia card. On the handset basis, it will be introduced and supplied to the marketplace sometime in March or April of this year. Then the handsets with the chipsets will be available in the market place.
