SO, VRSN- wish I could say that I held the position through all that time of the last two years. Due to stop losses and taking profits it's been an up and down battle.

That's the point that I wanted to make and throw out for discussion - when to trade a short or treated it more like a "sell" and hold. I know there is no clear answer. It appears that fundamentals eventually prove out but like in the case of techs it can take a long time and be very costly if the stock out plays your hand that the loss can not be accepted.

On the other hand, I wonder if we truly are at a point that we can short these high flyers with comfort of knowing that they won't run 10-20 points on you. One reason I got out of Biotech. I think that can still happen there but in regular tech I wonder if the street is seeing through these bubbles
the more deflated they become.
