Yes, too many trades. It backs out all the time, then gets back in (Bill's Nervous System). However, with breakouts, in many cases it seems to do a good job catching the entry and exit points. Have a look at AMTX and MU, for example. It was in for the rides up and got out nicely.

And yes, it was Wolfgang who posted a BNS system formula first. You could take a cue from comets and call it the Sandusky-Lauer-Everett formula, then split the profits three ways when your blazing new discovery hits the world. Better act fast, before the system sails back into the Ort Cloud of technical analysis.
