This enron accounting will be positive for the market in the long term. The next few quarters are going to be pure pain for investors as the pro forma junk earnings are sold off and any company that doesnt have a clean balance sheet is destroyed. The survivors will benefit but most of the companies we invest today will be a memory of foolishness and a lesson for future generations.
