FWIW, only part of the claims are subject to royalties and overriding interest.

Interesting. I have all that here somewhere, I suppose, but I confess I had forgotten *that* royalty. I was thinking of the vigorish that the government takes off the top. What is it now, about 16 per cent? (My numbers are usually so crude I usually just say, oh, cut it in half for the government's cut. In reality, it's a far more complex subject than that, of course.)

The only reason I'm in this play is I believe JI includes the very real prospect for larger stones and/or high stone values.

That's a reasonable hope at this stage. What the odds are, is tough to say, but it does have a chance.

For discussion purposes, one might also estimate that the grade below the crater facies as 20% less.

Hmmm. OK, for discussion purposes. I can think of a few deposits where the better grades are not at the top, however. It will take delineation drilling to determine the diamond distribution, ultimately.
