However, once people start learning about Islam and really dive into what Quran and the other Islamic teachings (such as the book of Hadith) say, no one in his/her right mind would accept Islam as anything but a manipulative cult with evil hidden inside it

Of course this is not how everyone would see it. I agree with you with all my heart, but there are over 1 billion people in the world that do not.
