I think you can be assured that the post-silicon era (e.g., the onset of organics bandied about at Lucent's Bell Labs)will occur faster and with greater certainty than the supposed death of optical lithography.

What exactly are you basing this on? Organic litography, for lack of a better term, is nowhere near fruition.
