InfoWorld Magazine Names BEA WebLogic Portal '2001 InfoWorld Technology Of the Year'Award Recognizes BEA WebLogic Portal Support for Web Services, Content Management and Multi-Channel Portal Management

According to InfoWorld, portals emerged as one of the top 10 technologies to impact the enterprise in 2001. The publication gave the sole portal award to BEA WebLogic Portal, "a Java-based portal framework (that) combines support for Web services, content management and portlet integration with administration features that help tame the cost of multichannel portal management."
