The symbol may be there, but it may be on a toolbar that is partially covered up by another toolbar. They can be dragged apart by handles on the left ends of the bars.

OR: Rt-click on a blank space on the toolbar
Select Customize
Select All Commands in the left window
In the right window, find ShowAll
Drag it and drop next to "Help" on the upper toolbar
Close Customize
