John, if the company can't make money when every business down to the local dry cleaner is trying to get connected to the net and put up a website, when do you think they WILL make a profit? The company has a long history of involvement in glamorous technologies with some of the best, most innovative engineers, persistently losing money! As for a "stable base in government contracts," it's that culture of government contracts that has destroyed their capacity to thrive as a growing private-sector company. Half of the employees think money from business is dirty and the government should fund everything they do, and the other half is just itching to take some of their work out to a startup. Sorry to be so negative, but when profitable, quality companies are selling below book value, I hate to see the company ride on glamor to another crash.
