Considering that this is a corrective, the down trend should be looked at but it's significance is up in the air. If we channel down and this is wave 2, the the channel line really won't start until wave 2 ends. You never really start your channel from the top of wave 1 down. The move up over 1088 just opens the door to 1100 as long as it remains above this level, but even that is not a given.
