Parik,

With all due respect to your work, Microsoft is still fat and lazy.

Integrating a monolithic suite of applications--which I actually like and use fairly often--with the Internet quite misses the point. Object level code such as Java will ultimately replace Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access. I think you would have been much better off embracing OpenDoc when you had the opportunity to do so. Had Microsoft done this, Java might never have been the thorn in your side that it and it's successors will become.

Believe me, the short sale of MSFT has been satisfying. Your stock never seems to offer those opportunities. ;) But when a stock trades and 40x earnings after trading at 28-32x earnings for years, and with the rest of the market really taking a beating and MSFT left unscathed, this one was a no-brainer.

I'm covering at ~115 today. Too many bargain hunters out there... ;)
