Paul, this article looks a bit premature, but what the hell:

Wistron, which began shipping the Latitude C400 notebook to Dell Computer in November, will continue as Dell’s major supplier of 12.1-inch, one-spindle super-thin notebooks in 2003. The new model, expected to begin shipping in the second quarter of 2003, will use Intel’s new Banias Mobile CPU and be the follow-up to the Latitude C400.

And, Banias same core architecture as PIII-M?

The Banias, with the same core architecture as the Pentium III Processor-M originally was to be launched in the first quarter of 2003

Of course, some of the AMD boyz are claiming Dell's first AMD chip used will be a Barton.
