Byrd is a complete asshole. 50 years of luxury and power in congress, and he has done nothing for his state, and nothing for his country. In fact, he has probably screwed up America a lot more in his vacation on capital hill.

Frankly, these politicians are mostly power hungry. Just listening to them in the Enron hearing attest to this. These are not judges, they are hardly trained for such. Some are not even lawyers, and they think they have the skills to prosecute. They want the limelight, they can care less for any of the Enron employees that got hurt. As far as they are concern, this is simply a podium to point fingers at the other party. Just listening to Hollings's stupid outburst attest to the level of neutrality in his party.

We are in an election year, the Democrats are dying to win seats. But with the great job President Bush is doing, they have little chance to win any on both houses. So now with the Enron scandal, they see an opportunity to let off steam. To vent for their ineptitude.

Yes! It is indeed frustrating to these old Democrats. 84 and counting, as in Byrd's case, and nothing accomplished to be remembered by history.

And Daschle even have the nerve not to praise President Reagan yesterday during the ex president's 91st birthday. How dumb is this man Daschle. First he crashed the markets earlier this week, then he showed dis-respect for President Reagan yesterday. I bet the next thing he'll do is to help Gary Condit run for re-election. No morals!
