The suspected kidnapper received advance warning from the paki police: "We have your relatives under custody. We will exchange your relatives for Pearl." Is this stupid or what? Is this a friendly warning from his neighborhood cop on the beat? Nincompoops or collaborators. Possibly the latter? Who knows? The baby-face evil genius did not drop into the police station like a good citizen. He took to his heels.
