My first & only Jaz drive so far is by LaCie, because it has a fan (noisier, of course, but cooler). I do not know the difference in profit for Iomega between a third-party Jaz drive and their own. Perhaps it is the cost of the case, fan & power supply which Iomega does not have to supply?

So far so good but I've only had it a short while. People who walk in look at it & go hmmm... :)
