There is only one solution to this "protection racket", ...form a new lobby group. This new group would pressure congress (and yes, throw around some money) to begin reducing regulations. Hacking away at obstructive and restrictive regulations on the public and business. Streamlining government and reducing the need for the protection money.

Campaign finance reform won't do it because they will still be working under the same old racketeering system with new rules for collecting the booty.
