Eric, gold is not a bit fungible it is totally fungible. Lease rate are not the expression of an option price. They are, to the seller, a promise to pay a rate of interest for the loan and to repay the loan in gold at a specified fineness, not in the currency of the lender. That's the difference. Effectively, inflation is removed from the investment decision. The lease rate and its movements are short term expressions of clearing issues more than demand. By the way, the girls and I like the way you express yourself. Better than most on the thread. Are you cute?
