I agree with you Hawk...

I've been in the double dip recession camp for some time and have felt that American consumers would need tax relief as real wages are down.



I would like to see the federal budget get the same kind of scrutiny that corporate balance sheets are finally getting.

Last year there was a huge amount of fund (hundreds of millions, if memory serves) "unaccounted" for in the Dept. of Education....
I also remember reading about credit card fraud perpetrated by government employees that were issued Fed Visa and MC's for procurement purposes.

"Before" fraud, waste and abuse was disgusting, now when people are hurting financially as the economy contracts, fraud, waste and abuse of taxes is simply unconscionable .
