Hi Selectri II Re: your feeling you've stated twice here, that people you label "conservatives" take whatever hand-outs are available I concur with, in general.
What that means, however, is that it is ill-advised to critique individuals on the right or the left, for taking government hand-outs, since both do it, given the chance, if the hand-outs are there, right?
The result - the only productive criticism must be leveled directly at the administration and Congress for making those hand-outs available, not the individuals. Or, if anyone, the contradictory individuals who call themselves "conservative" and yet line up for government hand-outs, should be an additional great and proper target for your wrath, along with government lawmakers.
Would you agree?
I'm only going through this carefully, because unlike those who by reason of authentic philosophy presume greater gov't support for health services (for example), I'm irritated to death by the absolute hypocracy of those claiming "conservatism" who deeply drink at the gov't well, while vigorously denying it, and while piously condemning some conveniently calculated demographic.
They should burn in hell.
Not just for sucking a bit of the life force out of the lower middle class and the rest of the taxpaying public, but for polluting the discussion and keeping it stupid. |
