Liam, Re: MS and Win95 and memory leaks. After I posted the message, I decided to watch what was happening with memory. Results surprised me. Using the Microsoft system monitor, I started on a "quiet" Win95 system (PC has 48Mb of RAM). Monitor said I had about 12Mb free of 24Mb. As I opened Netscape, Excel, QP, WinMidas, and MSWIN, it went down steadily. When I opened 2 charts in MSWIN I was down to 1MB free (Ouch). I guess I know why crazy things sometimes happened, although usually I only had Excel, MSWIN and QP open. I can routinely, though not consistently, lock up MSWIN if I try to automatically move from one chart to the next (using the button) with several applications open too.

I remember reading somewhere about Win95 taking half of available memory for its own use when it boots, but that there was some way to adjust this. I'll investigate and advise if I have success.

Thanks for picking up on the memory leak issue.

Cheers, Paul
