fyo, on integrating the memory controller, I'm a little concerned that the Hammer's memory controller may be eclipsed by new memory technologies. It's supposed to support PC1600, PC2100 and PC2700, but by time it's available, one of the quad data rate versions of SDRAM will probably be coming available. PC1600 is long gone already, and by the end of the year I expect PC2700 will be the same price as PC2100.

By the way, will Clawhammer support both 64-bit-wide and 128-bit-wide memory interface (requiring DDR in pairs)? Or is it only 64-bit or only 128-bit-wide?
