rose - I took no exception at all; I found it pretty funny. Could even become the tune just before the car wreck songs.

And I have no argument with putting Dylan above Van. He's definitely more significant; in my 100 Essential Recordings collection I'd include two copies of "Bringing It All Back Home". I just think that the weakest Van Morrison albums are better than the weakest of Dylan.

Have you listened to Leonard Cohen's two most recent CDs? IMO, his two best.

And back to Ian & Sylvia - here's a CD that hasn't been off my player for long over the past few months that has a similar sound. Tom Paxton's voice doesn't have the richness of Ian Tyson's but he's a terrific singer.
