Snake Eyes, I don't have an employer. I am the boss. I have been self employed for almost 30 years. I know all about business taxes because I have been paying them for that period of time. I consider it a privilege to pay taxes. I do believe that tax structure of my state (Washington State) is unfair in that it is very regressive and penalizes startup business. We do not have a state income tax but I would gladly pay one to get rid of B&O tax (2.5% of the gross) on my business.
