Naz weekly volume again shows strong distribution. These are the weekly numbers like I posted last week.

The question came up as to how these numbers are figured. I called the local newspaper, and although the person wasn't 100% sure, he said that if the stock was down for the week, then the all the volume was considered down. He compared it to doing a weekly chart versus a daily in reference to the information contained.

For last week the Nas had 1253 stocks that advanced and 2800 that declined. Now this is where the real distribution shows up....up volume was 1.03bil share and down was 8.7bil shares. That better than 8 to 1 and the highest down volume in the 5 weeks that I have been watching. Seems the selling is not letting up on a weekly basis.

NYSE was 2143 up and 3487 down with up volume at 1.8bil vs. down volume of 5.8bil.

FWIW, Joe
