I don't have any choices. I don't think your reply answers my question, at least not in a way that I can understand.

What's more, I don't think as humans we are capable of answering my question, and therefore why try? I don't know what happens after this life. There is either nothing or something. If there is nothing then guessing what happens next is pointless. If there is something, then we will find out. If we were supposed to know, we would know. There is no point in a particular kind of God expecting us to believe in Him while we only have ambiguous hints as to what kind of God there is and how we should live our lives.

My best guess is to follow our instincts. That would involve leading a life that satisfies your needs. Those needs might be things like eating, breathing, sex, laughter, love etc.
