Dominick,

During the last Bull market 2000, I was selling LEAP puts on stocks which I would be willing to own. I made money on most positions. I'm am currently a long term investor on 2003 $30 puts I sold on LSI, since I neglected to cover when I was itm. I'll most likely be assigned jan03 my cost basis will be $25 which is about what I paid for my long term buy and hold position. My question is, how do you feel about LEAPS vs. shorter term options. Lately I've been doing shorter exp. for Calls so I'm not stuck holding a stock with a covered call written to it, waiting to be assigned.
