wbmw and I worked through this a while back here. Now we have the BA@BoA [Ben Anixter, AMD VP of External Affairs at Bank of America presentation] source quote, courtesy of JC's and one of his contributors:

"Well, as we said on the conference call we're starting to get traction ?? the one and two processor markets the one or two processor server and workstation market. There are about a million/quarter of those sold. We have essentially 0% market share right now. We're selling 10s of thousands of units a quarter."

Consensus was that AMD has more than 1% but they effectively have a very minor presence in this market. Also defining the market and total size of the 1/2P market was not clear.
