Blowing up Mecca does seem a bit much, as we've discussed before on this thread. So, do you buy into the preventative-war approach that has been implied for phase 2 of the war on terrorism and, if so, how far would you be prepared to go to head off a potential attack? I'm fully invested in hitting "terrorists with global reach and the states that support them." I haven't yet been able to internalize the value of zapping all those who we think might be thinking about doing something that might be threatening to us. Have you? Karen
