Does this include a) the Palestinians, and b) the IRA? How would I know? The scope of the war has morph-itis. I don't think Bush intended to include them when he first defined the enemy because I don't think they have global reach. But the scope of our war is still a bit, shall we say, fuzzy, and seemingly afflicted by "mission creep," so I can't be sure what he had in mind then or has in mind now. Or is it okay for these groups to inflict terror as long as it isn't on US populations? There are lots of things that go on in the world that aren't OK. Some of them are within the parameters of the war and some aren't. No, I don't think localized terrorism is "OK." I don't even think insulting people on SI is OK, let alone terrorism. Karen
