Jim, Who am I to argue with an oil man ;-). I have during the last two years become familiar with arguments for Hubbert Peak, but even it were to be here soon, in the interim and beyond, OSX companies will be busy bringing the smaller fields onto the stream. Thus investment in this sector ought to be profitable in riding the cycles up and down, or at least waiting for the upturn. As this article posted by Slider in our old thread mentions, the deathspiral of Japan (John Makin's phrase, I think) is pretty worrisome. forbes.com best, Seppo
