I agree on ADaptec(actually it's ROXIO now..they bot them out)..I hate that POS...I know many love it but my experience has been chitty. I use Cakewalk's Pyro...I love it..the only downside is that you must copy to HD to even make copies..so no cd to cd burns. Your WIN media player will play any format....if you want it to play on a stereo it must be converted from MP3 before burning to CD

the Roxio will do the job..just choose the files you want to burn by making a playlist in the soundstream section and go..it will convert for you without you having to do it.
