Jay, Very true! And I have thanked you for providing excellent commentary on many things which was part of the reason I sold enough to go off margin.
However, and this is a big however, last week I had a sudden rush of blood to the head and bought a big load of Global Crossing Senior Notes at 4.25c each. That is good in that it is a lower price than you paid, which gives me Great Gloating [GG] rights.
But, if they disappear beyond the event horizon into a pea-sized singularity, it will be irrelevant what price difference we had as all $$s become equal in the exceedingly fine grinding which takes place in that maelstrom near zero. The same as all metres, entropies, kilograms and seconds become equal in black holes [my theory anyway].
So, I need to get in my GG quickly, before anything more goes wrong. Now, having enjoyed some brief gloating, we are on the same side of a bet as all reasoned debates should end up, [though you've already written yours down to the pea-sized category]. So, where to?
Hutchison has got a very good deal [4 x better than mine the way I look at it], assuming the bankruptcy court and other bidders and the creditors allow it to go ahead.
