River, from where I am coming from, the answer is NO, but for the reason that there is NOTHING but the Divine, and Dennis is no exception. In this vantage point, the Divine is Consciousness and the ENERGY that lives every one and every thing. And yes, it can be proven that every thing animate and inanimate is energy or light. And Light is an observable manifestation of the Divine Being. You may think this is more BS belief stuff. However, if anyone is serious, they can test out for themselves the truth of it all. But in the process your life is changed and you become aligned in greater and lesser ways with that Light. Should you not be interested in that, you should remain on the sidelines but pursue what passionately moves you. You will not find it constructive for your own growth to remain for too many lifetimes in the role of cynic and debunker, for the reason that this just buttresses your own isolation and dismay. There are lots of reasons to be distressed by the BS of this world. But that is a trap, too. Namaste! Jim
