GZ, wasn't it you on some other thread a while back discussing banana trees?

I ask this because I thought during that time I found a link to some banana trees that would actually grow in regions where the temps fell to 10°

I want tropical fruit trees(that's how I ran across that papaya article in the last post). There is a place where I can buy winter hardy Kiwi, but they take up to 15 years(as I recall) to begin producing. I don't want to wait until I'm on my death bed to pick my first crop<GG>

Any how, if I have it right, could you refresh my memory as to what thread that was on? Thanks.

P.S> Might it be the gardening thread? Sounds logical. But I thought it was somewhere else.
