big flush only starting imho for QCOM
all their telecom buddies saw 80-95% price declines
3G or no, this inflated stock is due for a 50% haircut
not from 61 high, but from stable 45-55 range

I agree with Big Bo (aka NeoRush) about 20's upcoming

at 11 times sales, the price still seems way high
I mentioned that 11x figure on QCOM thread, only to be reminded that much of the revenue was at 90% margin (royalty)
a tough call to put value on a royalty machine
it all boils down to growth, not margins, to me
and growth for telecom wireless is seeing massive scalebacks
then you have Japan and Asia reverting back to the permanently developing nation state of affairs

HighPinesMan, got a serious question for you
do you think the gold phenomenon is a brief fleeting phase lasting 2-3 months?
or the harbinger of a new 2-3 year phase (my opinion)

second, do you think the move to gold will be spreading to other natural resources ?
like copper, platinum, oil, timber ?

I believe it is, it will

I see 1970's stagflation coming
after the Japan Big Flush, we get a dollar blowoff top, then comes the big march down for the dollar and a slow march up for bond yields, as inflation will then be imported

a kruggerand for your thoughts, Jim
