Well, here is one subject we have been over before. Gold has many uses. Only nutballs without a clue think otherwise. Gold is not used (even though it is the preferred material) in many cases because it is too expensive.

There is institutionalized stupidity on this subject, and that guy is a classic example. Did someone pay him to write that trash or is he really just stupid??

Gold is unreactive. It is really good for electrical contacts. That is just one use.

Semiconductor engineers are chit scared of it, for various reasons, but even we use it on occasions.

Depleted Uranium is used for armor penetrating bullets. There is some major problems with that. I have suggested using gold instead. OK you need a titanium jacket but big deal. The enemy would be more interested in digging up the gold rounds fired instead of fighting the enemy.

Gold is not toxic. A most important quality.
