Paul, I have a Sanm story and would appreciate your(Dennis and others) point of view:

A few weeks ago I caught a CNBC interview w/the short-seller Tice and he stated that his bear-fund was shorting Sanm(the emc sector) and the stock was trading around(above) $18. I checked the available F/a&T/a info of Sanm and.....Anyway...a week later the stock was dropping under $14 and I made a quick decision and mkt-bot 2800 shares and they were filled bet $13.87 to $14.

On Friday, Sanm went to it's Sep-low of $11.75 with thin trading. I bot another 1800 shares under $11.80...

Now, there were a couple of relatively(for Sanm's options volume) large Sanm calls opened on Friday-
quote.cboe.com
1,000 Mar-12.5 calls opened(OI-252)
3,500 Apr-12.5 calls opened(OI-1370)
My read is that the shorts were covering a little and there is a very good above Feb-$12.5 max pain support for the next week.

Well, beyond that, what does the chart say?
