did you get to look at ciena? I ask because soundview has ciena on their list of "best positioned tech companies"... along with a bunch of other more stable names like kla/tencor and PSFT which I generally agree with. Here's the soundview research page. BTW there is something on manh there. research.soundview.com One of the better investment people I know was talking about cisco last night. He's a bull on cisco, believing that they are using this dearth in the sector to clean up in mkt share and at the end when the sector does turn up they will be more dominant than msft is in software. L
