I agree that just because you piss someone off doesn't mean you are arrogant. I actually liked Bush and considered voting for him until he picked Cheney. I think Bush is very smart and crafty and has great advisors (a good sign as far as I am concerned) but something about the Cheney choice deeply bothered me.
