Dear AK-47,

I would not want to be out of gold at anytime in the next two years at least. I think it would be interesting to see however how the sectors in precious metals stack up since it appears the starting gates have opened. Wish I could remember the name of that site!!

Enron is only one piece of the puzzle but an important one for the USA investor.I am sorry to say that in my experience truth and honesty for the American Public is only an issue when their particular "ox is gored". Prior to that they are not much interested in taking a stand. It is too much trouble. This is why I have some time for the GATA boys. They paid their money and have taken a stand. I will be shocked however if they get their day in court. They are taking on the Worlds Elitist Community and they do not like losing. They also do not play fair.

The deposit insurance issue in Japan is a big one now as is the very bad state of their Banking Systems Balance sheets.

The USA is going back into deficit spending when they are the largest debtor nation on earth. Trade and Current Account deficits are unsustainable. It looks like 1985 to me when the Buck was way up against all currencies and by 1987 had dropped 50% of its value. I would not want to hold dollars or USA debt paper now.

Gold producer buy backs of hedges is also a plus for gold. In the end I think gold will go as all the fiat currencies have problems.

Best Regards,
