<<Thanks again for saving my bacon and providing leadership on Global Crossing Senior Notes. Where to now for them? Are they a bargain at 4c?>>

<Yes, but not in truck load quantities. Never in truck load quantities. >

Jay, I wanted a LOT of gloating, so I had to really load my little Tonka Truck up to the gunwales. But now I'm just a touch nervous having scrutinized the situation a bit more closely. I'm well aware that gloating is a very hazardous activity.

I remain unconvinced that they are a bargain at 4.25c. But if you are still holding, then I suppose you figure that they are worth more than that.

On another matter, you are holding a very big currency bet [spread over several currencies with USD the big part]while maintaining that gold is going to be great. Isn't that inconsistent? Do you have a bail-out price for gold? $350? $400? $1000? Wait and see how the tsunami is surging before deciding?

Meanwhile, I hope you are having a great New Year's holiday and thoroughly enjoy your Trinidadian troppo trip.
