I try to hold a core stock until it violates a support level (which is raised from ime to time), AGM, for instance, as I have mentioned a number of time is a 10 year stocks. Sometimes, when I get in an extremely short period of time a excessive gain (afte sep 21, in COO, IGT and TYC), I would take the profits and try and reposition, i repositioned IGT, at a premium to my sell, TYC and COO are well below.
By the way, continuing to raise cash here, just sold NSDK here at $14.92, for $1.11 profit and KLIC at $15.24 (just$.83, yet a profit).
