They go backwards because they are flawed in their thinking and perspective. They blame everyone else, and retreat into religion, deeper and deeper.
They will NEVER go forward as long as islam is their controlling voice.
They can't stand it that the rest of the world IS moving forward, and so they will try and bring us DOWN to THEIR level, as opposed to them trying to see if they can come UP to ours. FWIW-IMO The west didn't really move forward until the Church started to lose their iron grip on the people, also.
The church IMO hindered our development, even though it helped in the beginning. Religion has to be kept in a box or it is a negative influence, when it gets carried away with itself.
Religion needs to stick to the moral, and stay away from everything else. It gives a concious, (right vs wrong) but anything more than that is bad. Islam meddles in the day to day lives, and no one can do anything without first checking with what the imams want.
If there is a God, I doubt if he wants us to spend all our time lighting candles, and making voodoo jibberish.
We're here to advance, not stay stagnant. If he wanted us to stay stagnant, he'd have made us all potatoes, instead of human beings. |
