Engineered Support to Present on February 13, 2002 at SG Cowen's Aerospace Conference in NYC

ST. LOUIS, Feb 11, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Engineered Support
Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: EASI) will participate in SG Cowen's 23rd Annual Global
Aerospace/Diversified Technology Conference to be held February 12 through 13 at
The Essex House Hotel in New York City. Engineered Support's presentation will
be given at approximately 4:20 pm on February 13. The conference is for
institutional clients of SG Cowen, according to Michael F. Shanahan, Sr.,
Chairman and CEO.

Vice Chairman - Administration and Chief Financial Officer Gary C. Gerhardt will

during his presentation.
