I think of my confining rules
Putting a lot of restrictions on
my what i can or can not do, but leaving me
discretion in which of the setups to play
I think of a mechanical system leaving
no discretion whatsoever.
I know what often seems the right
thing to do, is usually exactly
the wrong thing. One's instincts
betray us, but I would like to think
that they can be retrained, and become
an asset.

A computer compared to a child's mind
The computer does many tasks much better
but it will not evolve, the mind will

So, as the daily market condition changes
I trust my mind (restrained),
more than a mechanical system.

I realize that your mechanical system
does evolve through your changes

I am thinking of a evolution that
happens as the market moves itself

Scalping works best in a trendless day
but one must be prepared to ride
a trending market

But, perhaps your mechanical system
does work in many different kinds
of action.
