IMO, nothing so far beats: "Depends on what your definition of is, is..."

Unfortunately for us ordinary folks, nobody in politics has been able to take and hold the higher ground for long. In the rare event one tries, s/he quickly finds the media only comes at a high price, so even getting the word out is impossible. And even if they seem to be getting traction, they are easily taken care of by heavy (media and otherwise)spending from the entrenched powers that be.

Case in point:

Now I am really shutting up on politics for awhile.
