its a story about japan.. yesterday there were several articles about the "official" PPT team in japan- the sub-prime minister or something gave a speech yesterday and said the govt should step in to buy shares and support the market- to "stop the diahrhea"..

he also said they should look into curbs on short selling activity, as it was "damaging" to their market.
