I read your comments about Gold Reserve with much interest. Turning to the link you provided, I noticed on the first page that their study had (apparently) compared "cominco's CESL procedure" with traditional smelter results. Unfortunately I have yet to read what their conclusions are because.....

If you go to the SEDAR listing of Taseko Mines you will discover that Taseko has the exclusive rights to Cominco's CESL process. The last Sedar posting there talks about a private issue to finance it. They are planning to use it to bring the old Gibraltar copper mine back into production.

This is interesting because Taseko also has the HUGE Fish Lake deposit which is copper/gold just as Brisas is. (I believe they renamed the deposit "Prosperity", but being an angler, the original "Fish Lake" sounds better to me, fish being more readily captured than prosperity). Note that they have this deposit that is comparable to Brisas in addition to the fully functional Gibraltar mine that is their first-in-line project.

Take a look at Taseko and Fish Lake ! Is it not the equal of Brisas ? With Taseko currently trading at fifty cents CANADIAN, does this not represent the least expensive fully proven gold deposit ?

Now I must read more about Brisas to answer the question myself. Is this another example of people overlooking the exciting prospects of mining in old B.C.? I do not own shares in Taseko.... life is too short ! But there's not much I don't know about it.... great Moose hunting there !
