I don't find it objectionable, so much as inconsequential. Jenna had posted her buys and sells for a time, but I don't see how that would help anyone. My buy and sell signals are generated after I post these Watch Lists. If I have bought or sold, then the ticker has already moved. On occasion I will post a ticker that I bought that day if I feel it still has profit opportunity (ie, MLIN). Plus, I have a lot of trades that aren't posted to this thread becasue they are on my personal watch lists and not suitable for posting due to risk, timing or other factors. Figuring which was which several days later is a lot of effort, and I already spend alot of time just reducing the list for this thread. If someone other than Copia had asked for the price of the ticker, I probably wouldn't have added that.

I think the best way to beneift is to print out a 5-minute chart of five day's trading for a ticker (starting after the post) and pick an entry an exit based on what you see happening (cover the subsequent ticks with a pc of paper and slide to the right). This form of rudimentary 'paper' trading will help you identify if you are understanding and predicting movement correctly. If you have problems finding local minimums or maximums, or figuring out which ones are moving, email me. But, I try to make my picks suitable for end-of-day traders also (at the expense of less net gain and having to hold longer).

Historically, I've bought around $0.25-$0.375 above the local minimum and sold between $0.125 and $0.25 below the maximum within my hold window. I use delayed quotes, so with real time, one could do better. If you used telescan, tradestation or metastock some other software, you could probably make more picks to watch. I think the total cost of my purchased software was less than $200 for both PC's and MACs (I do most of my TA on the Mac) and the annual cost of my data sources is less than $300, not counting the neural net, which is custom. If you spend more on sources like Pristine or real time news feeds, you could also get some additional advantage. I don't trade full time, so you have to take this into account also.
